Defining
moments in our lives stay with us always and for the Class of
2006, May 20, 2006 at the Germantown Country Club was one of
those moments. Twenty electrical apprentices and five low
voltage students said good-bye to the Mid-South IEC among
family, friends, employers, co-workers and standing ovations.
Shelby County Mayor AC Wharton was the guest speaker for the
evening reminding the graduates of the important body parts they
need to survive in life. The Apprentice of the Year, Russell
Brown from Dennis Electric and the Low Voltage Student of the
Year, Steve Materna from State Systems both received special
recognition and tools from Klein Tools presented by Terry Ryan. |
